Month three on my fitness journey has been all about balance. Trying to keep all to my commitments while sticking to exercise has been hard.
There’s not enough time in the day to fit everything in. But, rather than give up altogether, I’ve stuck to the Couch to 5k training program, adding in gym sessions with weights when I can.
Like I’ve said before, it’s not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.
Join me as I share my journey, work outs and motivations as I run my way through May and discover the garden gym!

This is what the end of a workout looks like for me. Red, sweaty, certainly not what you’d see on Instagram, but very happy. This picture is the very start of my fitness journey.
If you’re looking for super glossy fitness inspiration then this series of posts may not be for you. But, if you want a very real fitness journey that’s (hopefully) motivating, then stick with me because it starts here.

It’s September and National Yoga Month which means I’m back on my yoga mat to practice #yogaeverydamnday
Last year famous yogi Rachel Brathen set the #yogagirlchallenge to encourage practice and join the yoga community together. I’m going to keep the tradition going and this month, every day for 30 days I’m going to get on my mat and do a little bit of yoga each day.

Getting back on the mat is so important to me. I’ve had a break from yoga and I miss it. I miss the flexibility in my body and how it clears my mind.
So recently I headed back to yoga, starting with a session in the park with my favourite teacher Jeneen, to start working and spending more time on myself again.
Join me on my first class and the moves that I did to start getting back into yoga. Continue reading “🧘🏼♀️Getting back into yoga 🧘🏼♀️”
