I am so far off the wagon, I can’t even see the wagon! Month four on my fitness journey has been what most would deem as an EPIC FAILURE. Trying to keep all to my commitments while sticking to exercise has not worked in June.
There’s been no Couch to 5k training program, no gym sessions and no weights. This is not good, in fact, it’s worse than that – how could I let this happen?
Like I’ve said before these posts about my journey are not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.
Join me as I share my journey, work outs and motivations, or lack of them, in June!

Going out for breakfast is such a treat and when we were in Polzeath we found a fab spot to start our day right.
It’s always hard in a new place to know where to try as it’s always a bit of a gamble.
Thankfully we landed on our feet when we strolled into the Tubestation in Polzeath – it was a blinking marvellous find. And, as I later found out, it was voted Red Bull’s ‘number 1 best surf café’ in UK and Ireland.

Month three on my fitness journey has been all about balance. Trying to keep all to my commitments while sticking to exercise has been hard.
There’s not enough time in the day to fit everything in. But, rather than give up altogether, I’ve stuck to the Couch to 5k training program, adding in gym sessions with weights when I can.
Like I’ve said before, it’s not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.
Join me as I share my journey, work outs and motivations as I run my way through May and discover the garden gym!

[AD*] Who doesn’t love seeing awesome places, feats of nature and people doing extraordinary things pushing themselves to the absolute limit?
Adventure film festivals are a form of escapism for me, it gives me travel ideas and it’s one of my favourite ways to spend an evening.
When the team at Offshore Film Festival invited me to an evening of ocean adventure through a program of films focusing on the world’s best diving, surfing and sailing I, of course, said HELL YEAH!
This was the festival’s first time in Southampton, but this is its third year touring Europe and the UK. Here I give a little insight into my evening and the short films.
