The Lush cream that’s a total dream for eczema
Hot weather, cold weather, snow, never ending rain and a miniature spring heat wave.
My skin has taken an absolute beating over the past few weeks from the roller coaster British weather.
The ups and downs have brought my eczema, which was under control, back and more aggressive than before.
However, it’s not all bad, I’ve got a little trick up I sleeve this year.
Want to know what’s brought it back under control?
It’s the Lush Dream Cream!
Sufferers of eczema will feel my pain. I’ve tried so many creams ‘proven to work’ and just about every other trick in the book. Not many of them did much to improve the condition of my eczema.
I also tried several steroid creams which partly helped but, I’m keen to avoid them as I know how damaging they are to the skin.
This isn’t an option for every sufferer, if your condition is really bad, steroid creams can work, so listen to your doctor. My best advice is to do what works for you.
There is no one quick fix for eczema. Different things work for different people but, I reckon this cream is definitely worth trying if you suffer.
I only discovered this cream as I was shopping one evening and got speaking to one of the shop assistants.
As I had already spent so much on buying creams I was loathed to waste anymore money if it wasn’t going to make a difference. They were kind enough to give me a good sized sample so I could try it out to see if it made any difference.
Thank god for samples, because I don’t think I’d have tried this otherwise.
What’s it like?
The cream is smooth, silky and smells gently of lavender. It’s thin but not runny and a little goes a long way.
It absorbs in fairly quickly, which is a relief. Creams for eczema often have the consistency of thick body butters and sit on top of the skin for a long time.
This cream is so refreshing and doesn’t make me feel ‘caked’ in product.
I tend to put in on before bed to let it do its business overnight so the next morning I can just get up and go!
It’s £13.95 for 240g which is fairly expensive for a regular body moisturiser BUT, if it works, it’s worth it, right?!
I only tend to use it on the part of me that needs it and almost a month of constant use and I’m only a quarter of the way through the pot.
So actually, despite my grumbling about the price, per month it’s really not that bad!
I only tend to use it on the part of me that needs it and another moisturiser on the rest of me so I don’t waste its wonderful healing benefits.
As you can tell, I’m a fan – it’s now on my repurchase list for good.
It’s hugely improved the condition of my eczema. I’m almost a month in and my skin is probably a good 85% better than it was.
It works fairly quickly too, after one overnight application I begin to notice an improvement and within days it had dramatically improved the condition of my skin.
I’ve even started to use it on other problem areas of my skin, especially the spots on my arms and it’s worked wonders.
I’ve been using it every day for about three weeks now and I’m really impressed with the results.
I’m a bit gutted I didn’t take pictures of my skins improvement but, I’m not sure you’d have wanted to see what it looked like originally. EEK and EUGH combined!
If you are suffering with eczema and skin troubles, what helps you?
Have you tried the LUSH Dream Cream? What do you think of it?
THIS IS NOT AN AD! I’ve discovered this product, it’s helped me enormously and I thought I’d share my opinion because if this product helps anyone else in the way it’s helped me that can be no bad thing!
