How to watch floating videos on Facebook…

The ability to watch a video while you scroll through your newsfeed or navigating around the app has been available on Facebook for over a year.

I’ve been using the floating video function on You Tube for a long time but I didn’t know a similar feature was available on Facebook.

If you don’t know how to use this feature read this guide which tells you how.

Step 1 – Go to your Facebook newsfeed…

Step 2 – Click on the video you want to view in the floating format…

Step 3 – Click on the square logo on the top left…

This will bring up the floating video. It can then be moved anywhere on the screen by putting a finger on it and dragging it to the desired location.

The video can be watched as you navigate through Facebook.

Step 4 – To remove the floating video, put a finger on it and swipe it off the screen

It can also be stopped by leaving the app.

It’s literally as simple as that – enjoy watching videos while you scroll!
