Welcome to 2017!

The new year is here, and if you’re anything like me you’re probably nursing a bit of a sore head! Why not relax by reading some new blogs or sharing yours here…

Here’s to an excellent start to 2017!

Let’s kick off the New Year by discovering some new blogs!

Rules of play…

Share your blog, or a blog you love to read in the comments section.

The only catch is…

If you put your own blog, write what’s it about and why you started it.

If the blog belongs to someone else write why you love reading it.

I’m so excited about finding some new blogs to read and follow – get sharing!

  1. Happy New Year! This is my blog: trisarahtopsblog.com! I post mostly about books and my life and I started my blog because I love to write…and it gives me an excuse to take lots of photos and read books!

    • Thanks for sharing your blog Aimee! I can’t wait to give it a read tonight. I’m sure you are better than you think. We are all constantly learning and it’s great you can use those experiences to develop your blog. I try to do that too. πŸ™‚

  2. Have a look at http://www.adventureeachandeveryday.co.uk
I started my blog last year for a few reasons, one to get me writing, two to give me something to do while my husband is now away for long periods of time with work and three to meet new people.
It is a place for me to share my adventure with everyone, from a walk in the park to a wonderful long holiday abroad and everything.
I didn’t do much promoting last year of it but would really like to get stuck into this year and any feedback is welcomed.

      • Ah, I will have to find it and give it a read. Treats after bad times are well earnt/deserved. Holidays are the best!

I think either the one I wrote about PR lessons learnt from Harvey Specter (because it was so fun to write) or my first MAC cosmetics posts, as it was my first blogging event and the posts got recognition from the woman who helped MAC create them. To me they also mark small jumps in my writing and confidence.

How long have you blogged for?

      • Ooo…I might have a read of them today!

I set up the blog a while ago but never did anything. I then started writing in September 2016 after the holiday because I wanted to write about it. Then never looked back!
I didn’t have much confidence in myself last year and didn’t really want to share the blog, even with family but that is going to change this year!!
Let me know what you think

      • Love the blog, and your Instagram! Confidence is hard in writing and blogging, but you’ve come this far. You can do it! 2017 is waiting to be filled with adventures and I can’t wait to read your posts to see what you’ve been up to!

  3. Hi Rebecca,

I started my blog because I wanted to improve my writing and confidence. I am not very consistent but I love to write, share my opinion and read what people think about what I post. I post things about PR, photo challenges, my internship, and ethics.

Check it out, I would love to know your thoughts on my last blog post.

    • Oh amazing! Always great to get in contact with local bloggers. A toddler that blogs and vlogs, that’s very impressive! I can’t wait to check out your site and read/view some of your posts. I’ve got lots of friends with young families, so I’m sure your insights will be very useful to me. Best wishes, B xxx
